we have 4 games in feb leading up to the carling cup final and liverpool have 2 with their last game on feb 11th ... we really need liverpool to win today so that they have another game on the 18th and hopefully get an injury or two on the way!

The game on 11th February is Man Utd away which may well have a red card or two hopefully.

But your point is spot on if they lose this game, or a replay if there is one, will give them two weeks rest while we have to play two league games.
