So, Here We Are, On The Brink Of ....

... a great season or another choker?

I reckon it'll be a great season, although I'm worried we haven't made any further signings.

A good breather for the boys before Tuesday and 3 points at St Mary's Stadium and maybe my doubts will disappear. It's a shame there's some bitterness about the place, sometimes by Jacks, which we'd expect, but also some City fans can't seem to cheer up.

Never mind, bring on the next few months and let's have a laugh along the way.

To be honest Nedd, what some have called "choking" have been some great seasons. Okay not quite making it over the last hurdle hurts a bit, but there are many clubs who would have loved to have had the last few years . Play-off positions, Wembley trips for FA Cup finals etc, new stadium and now some great owners too. My glass is not half full, just needs a top-up to get to the full pint. Let the head settle down first, then add the extra bit. :old: :ayatollah:

BTW, great choice of music. :D

You wouldn't expect all of us Swans fans to be particularly excited though? Over the two legs though, you deserved to win, I haven't seen many Swans fans disagree with that?

As for your own fans, the better you perform, the worse it'll probably get. A couple of wins and you'll be better than Brazil, a couple of defeats and it'll be the end of the world. I've noticed a few threads on here about plastic fans, that's a bit disappointing. One of the reasons I started posting on here and looking in was to avoid all the plastic crap on the Swans boards.

For what its worth, I think you've got half a chance against Liverpool, I might chuck some money on it, that way, if you win I'll have something to cheer me up... ;)

Great post. I'll get 3 Little Birds on my iPod and annoy everyone on the train with it! Nah, maybe not - some of the boys are bound to belt me!

Fair enough. The "plastics" that I refer to are the Welsh people who support, or support in front of the telly, English and other foreign clubs. I always find that a little bit cringeworthy.

Okay, me too at times, fair point. I just think the term gets thrown around a bit too often, if both Swansea and Cardiff fans look back 10 years, that's a lot of plastic fans that both clubs have converted in a short space of time no?

Could well be the case. The CCFC fans I know have either always been fans of our club or, in some cases, were rugby fans who fancied a bit of footie and have ended up liking football more than rugby, due to the bigger crowds, the excitement etc.
