Hope we bring a few in,but it seems to me malkay won't pay over the odds,and will only sign players he's done his homework on.

How much thats the question because everything we bid for gets turned down im not getting it,we had carl say there was "one nearly done" and "medicals" threads 5days ago and still nothing,i know MM likes to do his homework but feck me there kind of hard medicals if there 5days long

Turner was a calculated gamble according to Malky and its working out so far...
I'm glad he's putting players through vigorous medicals, that way he knows they're ready to walk straight into the squad if needed.
Last season Bellamy Koumas And Drinkwater all arrived carrying injuries and lacked fitness and apart from Bellers and Koumas(for one game) they hampered us at times.

Malky himself went public on 3 or 4 occasions asking for our squad to be strengthened.
We now have £2mill or even up to £3mill thanks to Malky in this years cup.
Yes there def was 2 scans reserved and a 3rd on stand by for new players this week and it will come out eventually that there was, I am sure they have now opened the purse strings even more now Malky has achieved so much on so little money so far.

I totally agree with you in that regard.....many clubs will be either fighting for promotion or maintaining league status and dont want to destablise their team. No one has to sell unless they have to, which unfortunately is the case at Portsmouth. Other wise player prices will be quite high.

I got a feeling we may have 2 players which will be on loan until the end of the season and strenghten in the summer.

It is a very tricky situation, because I never expected us to be in this position, a cup final and third in the league....but I also agree with Malky's position, we shouldnt be paying over the odds with some of the asking prices of some players. Next few days will be very crucial for the club.....guess we all will have to wait and see what happens.
