Brilliant, thought he was going to cry!!!

You could tell just how much he wanted that tonight. He was Liverpool's best player by a mile and the only one that didn't look like he belonged in a mid tabled Prem side.

About time some people should realise that Bellers wanted to come here again this season, and back in June it was Man City or Cardiff City...
Never did he think that Liverpool would make a bid for him again..the rest is history...
Good luck to him...hope we beat Liverpool on the day....This is the dream Final for me

I have to agree.
I think he wanted that fixture, just on a personal level, almost as if he took it that he has had the privilege to play for and against CCFC.

Was basically putting it out there that he is still a Cardiff boy and that this is a dreamfor him.

He said that last night he was wishing us thru.
Now we have to be realistic thou
He is a profesional and he is being paid to to a job, well paid too.
So he will try to score against us, but i do believe if he does it will have a tinge of sadness.
I really hope none of our fans get on his back
He is a Cardiff fan, he loves our club.
But he has a job to do.
He is a profesional which is why us and the rest of the world admire him.
He is Welsh, a bluebird at heart and ambassador for our Wales team.
So what ever happens on the day please do not have a go at him.
He will be split and in a no win situation.
But thats only if they beat us, they are good but we have ambition.
We can pull off a shock win, but lets just go up and enjoy the day

Good points you have made there Dreamteam

- it was Bellers who TG and VT turned to to ask the way forward for our club

Some of the changes at our club have come from what Bellers told our owners.

Excellent post DT.
If Craig scores against us he will not celebrate. He's got his dream but the otherway around.
I imagine that some of less inteligent supporters will probably boo him though, I won't.
We'll probably get dicked by Liverpool but does that really matter to us old uns who were there when we really were f*cking shit? Four trips to Wembley in four years, two of which are for the major UK football finals, the FA Cup and now the League Cup!! As old Sam said, there will be big ups and big downs on his rollacoaster. He's gone now but I'm sure the big man in the little body will be watching come Feb 26th.
Thank you Sam for starting this, is the Sleeping Giant finally waking up?
