" WEMBLEY TICKETS "

Wed Jan 25, 2012 8:42 pm

Many texts, calls, pm's and fb inbox asking me for tickets.

The club have 18,600 season ticket holders and each one of these will be entitled to 1 Carling Cup Final ticket each.

Premier seat holders are entitled to a few extra tickets each remember that also.

The initial allocation for WEMBLEY is expected to be 31,000 but may be up to a possible 35,000.

So basic maths tells us that there is no way the club can offer every season ticket holder 2 tickets.

Will there be a general sale for the remaining tickets ?

Or will the club look to sell season tickets for next year with the promise of a WEMBLEY ticket as the kicker ? ;)

I think the club will play it smart by going for the season ticket option and not general sale. ;)

Does that 18,600 include Half season ticket holders? Because we were guaranteed a Wembley ticket as part of the ticket.

Thanks Carl. What about away travel club members, and stadium card holders? They were promised second priority for big games at the start of the season. Got an ST myself, but my dad, sister, niece and nephew have away cards, and stadium cards. They got tickets for the play-off final OK, hopefully the same now :ayatollah:

Re: WEMBLEY TICKETS

Carl, does that mean if you get a block of tickets for the forum you'll need all our fan numbers for tickets!?

Re: WEMBLEY TICKETS

Wed Jan 25, 2012 9:00 pm

Surely there will be some left for Away members and Stadium Card Holders.

Not every ST will take up their ticket. Even if 17k take them up and say another 6k (at most) if premier seat fans get an extra two (will probably only be one though). That's only 23k.

Even with the guaranteed ticket for new ST's we can only got to about 21 or 22k ST's. So that's only another 5k extra at most. Even then we have to find 5k of NEW ST Holders.

My maths make it 28k so enough left for away members and a small general sale for people with fan no.'s.

Carlos,I believe the Club will not put them on general sale and the 18,600 season ticket holders will get one each with Premier seats getting their extra tickets, plus Cardiff Blues/Mike Hall/PMG etc getting plenty. Then season tickets going on sale and those that buy them by midd Feb will get an extra ticket.
I will actually go as far as saying thats what will happen.

No such thing as a Platinum Ambo anymore. It just says it on the database for the price freeze. all just Season Ticket holders now,

The fairest option is this seasons ST holders followed by those that buy season ticket for next season. The remaining tickets should go on sale to away members. Then if any are left they go on general sale.

Hopefully as an away member I will get tickets for my boys and myself.

thought wembley hold 90k so we should be split 50:50 obviously 3-5k will be kept for sponsors but that still leaves 47500 for each team

Re: " WEMBLEY TICKETS "

dont see how the club can offer a st for a tcket to wembley, we only have 4 weeks until the final, this gives a limited amout of time available. I would like to see this option, as it will boost sales (not necesserily crowds) but at at least sales, some ST's dont even turn up.

I think Ambo's first
then St's,
The Half St holders.
then away members
then database
The general sale, or at least boost one game by saying if you come to the game you get a ticket for the final.

I don't understand your beef. The empty parts of the Premier seating will not get ANY Wembley tickets.
