Big game. It is the best of times, it is the worst of times

Games like yesterday are what makes me happy to be a City fan. So, so, so, so proud of the boys and Malky. But then comes the day after the night before and the same old same old bollocks that occurs every time we get a big game about tickets.

The season ticket holders are on their high horse cos they should get a guarantee of a ticket (which will happen) and some wanting two (which I can understand as they might want to take their wife / mate etc.) In some cases those that can get two, take two and then someone who has never been to the City gets to go. But such is life thems the rules.

What I don't like is the vitriol poured out by some of us over people's claims to tickets and the patronising of some people who merely hope to get a ticket for a huge game.

I have been a City fan for 20 odd years and was a regular away fan in 1997 until about 2001 when I joined the RAF. For a variety of reasons I stopped going regularly away from home but still did some games and a lot of home games. I am proud that I have been to many shit places like Exeter, Torquay, Shrewsbury, Chester and many others but I don't think for a minute for this reason I should have any priority. However, I do not need that rammed home by the many season ticket holders who will now (rightly) be guaranteed a ticket for the big game. Even the ones who don't bother coming week in / week out deserve a ticket as they laid out their cash that probably saved the club at one time or another.

So, in conclusion can we all just be proud of how well we have done in getting to a Cup final which (despite what a stupid Jack said) is a big deal. Can we leave the ticket bollocks out and wait until the club release the details of who qualifies for tickets. Can those that are eligible be happy they can get one and those that aren't be happy for them that will be going.

imo ,we as season ticket holders(ambassodors) should get 2 tickets each ,so as we can make sure the right people (supporters)who arent season ticket holders ,but regulary go to games get tickets, most of these go to work and dont get the chance to queue up down the ticket office for hours at a time ,i meet loads of non season ticket holders on away trips who deserve to get tickets for wembley who will be relying on season ticket holder mates for a ticket i for one if given 2 tickets will ensure a geniune fan will get my spare, allowing all plastics to go visit a legoland of thier choice , see you all at southampton,or will i , i will be there on tuesday will all you glory hunting whingers be there aswell, next tuesdays game more important than wembley :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
