Just over 10 years ago on 26th february 1991 Cardiff city travelled to current Blue Square Premier side Stockport County and earned a hard fought 1-1 draw courtesy of a Nathan Blake goal in front of 3,336 spectators

Fast forward to 26th February 2012 and the Bluebirds will walk out on the pitch of one of the most famous stadiums in the world and compete against one of the richest and most powerful teams in football and will give everything they have in front of 70k+ and millions of worldwide viewers

I think even more amazing is Feb 22 2005 Swansea lost to Darlington (now of who knows where) in front of 2,709 fans in the 4th tier of the football league and now they are in the top tier.

And we had a whole thread laughing about their 8.2 million pound debt.

4th to top in 6 years and only a debt of 8.2 million.

For now, we speak only of Cardiff City FC :ayatollah:
