How can you watch this hoof ball dross week in week out? The beautiful game it is not!

Re: anti fooball

The style of football both teams are playing belongs in the conference. Whichever team wins, football is the loser. Absolutely dreadful.

I'll agree with you on the last 15 minutes of normal time, but to be fair they've gone through 120 minutes of Football, when's the last time Swansea's got anywhere in a major cup?

You supporters of lower league teams might think the carling cup is "major", but us big boys of the premier league know better.

"Big" boys?

That praise really has gone to your head hasn't it?

When you get relegated, whether it's this season, the season after or even the one after that you'll see how big you really are.

Stop clutching at straws. I hope you've enjoyed your tin pot cup run coz you'll probably bottle it at wembley as per usual. At least try and play a bit of football in the final. Nicking it on penalties against a piss poor 10 man palace side hasn't exactly endeared you to the neutral football fan, given the 120 dreary minutes of hoofball that was on display previous to the shoot out.

I hate to say this but you Jacks have done very well (notice how I ain't slated you or called you gypos) but for Cardiff we need the money, if you hadn't noticed, plus we're the first Welsh team in the League Cup Final. :ayatollah:

Straws? You couldn't even beat a poor Shrewsbury side with your supposedly amazing football. And don't give me the crap that you played your reserve side, every team Championship and above played reserve sides because of the internationals at the time.

The sad thing is you're in the premiership before us, you have all the plaudits coming your way yet you still can't stay away from Cardiff. Maybe you should buy a Cardiff season ticket next season?

Then again we don't want premier league plastics at our club.

Can't really think of much else to say than get a life! simples!

Apart from a few weirdos, 99.9% of us don't care about you lot (premier league or not), so why are you lot so obsessed with us?....

Tonight you made stoke city look like Brazil. The F.A should charge your club with bringing the game into disrepute. Ugly hoofball goes against the spirit of football, and you should be punished accordingly.

This guy is having us on, right?!

I know the BBC team tonight isn't the greatest broadcasting team the world has ever seen (see what I did there  ), but they did say that we played good football. I think former international professionals such as Lee Dixon, Alan Hansen, Martin Keown and Gary Lineker know more than you do!

We've scored 7 goals in our last 3 games. You didn't score any goals in 120mins. Palace scored the only goal in the game before the pens. Worse game i've seen on the telly box for years. Both teams completely lacking in quality, but at least palace were playing away from home with 10 men. At least now you'll do the hat-trick at wembley..
F.A cup final.. losers.
Play off final.. losers.
League cup final.. losers.

If it was that bad why did you even watch the 120 minutes of football? Could have watched something else? :ayatollah:

why are you still here? if we are a 'lower league club' and it is a 'tin pot cup' and you are 'big boys' why bother us on this forum?.

Like I said, us big hitters in the premier league don't really see the carling cup as a serious competition. It's a tinpot cup for lower league wannabe's, and occasionally a big club like liverpool or man city will accidentally stumble their way through to the final.
