FAO: Corky - Safe Standing

Corky I've put this for your attention as being in the FSF I imagine of all the people on here you are probably most upto speed on the subject, has this campaign gone quiet or is work still going on in the background?

Safe standing is one of the most important campaigs run by the Federation...it has its own port folio owner and team that constantly campaign on this issue. At this time they are holding fire until the next general election because this present government will not act this close to an election but they are still very much on the case.

cheers Corky, are there any plans for our club to take part in a future safe standing day? or is it something our club would stop at the first suggestion? what are the clubs view on safe standing if they have a view that is.

Personally think standing would give the atmosphere at the new stadium a much needed boost but can't see it ever coming back. :(

Maybe mate, they were not opposed to it in principal but are following the law at the moment.
