Wasn't long ago your lot were raving about your financial situation and how you run in the black, if you go down you are fucked, you have a very dangerous game of poker until the end of the season, and every season from now on.

You haven't got a financial backer, you rent your ground from the council, and that council stadium is too small to support premiership football and wages, it's going to be an interesting few years   :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I am shocked they are in debt but I think if the Jacks did go down they would raise enough in player sales, not to mention the parachute payments plus a year of Premiership money to make them ok.

Apparently is mostly bonuses and increased player wages.

I PMSL at the comment that as winners of the Championship Playoff they have to make a contribution to FL parachute payments to the 3 clubs relegated from the Championship.

It is true that the 3 promoted clubs each have to pay £165.334 as compensation to the 3 relegated clubs but it doesn't even make up the £200k of the £8.2m loss. I can understand increased wages and the bonus thing but remember these accounts are before the club started paying transfer fees like the £4m for Graham and the likes.

Having to pay increased wages, high transfer fees etc are just the tip of the iceberg and remember this is a club without any assets except their players. The question is has the club included player valuations in these accounts to offset the level of losses as Huw The Spew has gone on about other clubs doing that, a dig at Cardiff, Swansea have not done this before so is the loss even bigger than is published.

Well run club my arse they are the same as the rest all bollocks deep in debt. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

ha ha ha they'll be bankrupt (again) if they go down!

What a debt to notch up, especially when they never spent anything!

A shambles down there

To be fair, I think the figures are to 31 May 2011.

I'm sure with the extra income that they'd get from being promoted they're figures will look better next year. Although I haven't been paying attention to how much their paying on wages + transfer fees!

I remember something about Burnley having the same kind of loss when they got promoted. It is to do with increased wages and bonuses which are paid for getting promoted and the £8.2m will be cancelled out by Sky TV payments/Premiership prize money which is spread over the season.

TBH how many times have posters suggested that VT should throw £5m at Malky in a gamble to get promoted? It's exactly the same thing.

Not really they haven't got a vt to bail them out when it all goes wrong just a tiny little council owned ground in a deprived area :ayatollah:

Absolutely right Tony and in the case of Burnley the losses were even higher at £11.7m and their one season in the PL resulted in a £14m profit a net gain of £2.7m. However last season the club lost £4.4m even though they were in receipt of PL parachute payments, consequential losses associated to relegation were blamed for the loss.

Burnley are already planning for huge cuts in their operating budgets because of uncertainty about returning to the PL and the massive drop in revenues, possibly as much as £30m next season compared to their season in the PL.

Getting to the PL is one thing but for financial security you have to stay there. Not easy. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

f*cking hell..you realy are grasping at straws here lads,if you realy think you can take anything from this or that we are fucked then you have realy become to obsessd with us.
What the club has said is that they had to pay out an extra 8.2mill on extra things..thers no debt if its been paid you muppets, and thers no way the club paid that as extras, did not expect them to brake even as the play off bonuses they had to pay out and contracts that they had to pay up,but get your facts right.
And by a country mile we are better run then you,so if we did have a extra 8.2 mill to pay out,how the f**k will you cope with going up?we have or had no debt, infact we had the money to be able to absorb this extra pay out,you are...what 30.40.50mill in debt allready how the f**k can you aford to go up,after all you saviors fro Malaysia aint realy doing much, and if they are so intrested in you and have so much money?why the f**k are they looking to bring another guy with money in...its you who should be concernd not us me eastern friends? ;)
