knee jerk reaction

Sat Jan 21, 2012 1:56 pm

Can anyone tell me when Swansea signed that young Chelsea midfield player was that a knee jerk reaction? when most of our rivals in the Championship have strengthened their squad were they all knee jerk reactions? is this not a clue to Malky's mindset at the moment that he is dithering in the transfer market because he is scared of making knee jerk reactions when obviously the same kind of mind set doesn't appear to affect other Championship Managers,go on Malky prove that my concerns about you in the transfer market are just wisps of smoke, sign at least two quality players very soon and i will be the first to admit in print i was wrong,in the immortal words of some American cop...............go on Malky make my day

I feel that his comments are moving closer to smoke and mirrors
we have no cash

anyone can see we've hit our level and need a little bit on top to push on.
Semi final and top 5 yet nothing signed.......

Malky has seemed either bid or expressed interest in noone and mackie
by all accounts his prep work takes weeks/months - so why does he say knee jerk?

I think - the cash goes up in jan and the players we want we cant afford.
Personally i'm desperate for some added quality, but in all honesty, dont want someone wrecking the budget.
Similarily (ala rogers) a team will continuously seek to develop as standing still really moves you backwards.

I'd rather Malky had not said knee jerk and treated us like adults
We aint got or possibly wont spend the money.

I still think Malky is superb - sometimes a managers hands are tied
Would be gutted to loose out yet again - but understand the DJ way was way wrong

As a Cardiff fan -despair and euphoria are partners - we'll all be bi-polar following the mighty bluebirds!!!!!!!!!!!! :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

why -thank you Mr A.

I honestly think we are on the right track

I get frustrated that, after haveing no aspiration at the start of this season, i am more confident that we could make it than i ever was under DJ - IF - we got in that bit you need to get up.
you ask my mates and i grizzled and groaned even going to wembly - because i just didnt feel it.

i feel it in Malky

now people talk about gestede and mason 'we dont need anyone else' etc. I think are cracking but just not quite the extra that is required.
these boys should be viewed as long term and essentially, Malky is right to focus on youth and younger players - to make the club financially sustainable.

But we need some quality and some experience to go with it to create the momentum and sustain a challenge to get to PL :ayatollah:
