Also Agen Vanalden has ran his course also and Michael Shannon is off to finish playing General Zod.

Boardwalk empire was class, looking fwd to next episode and was never really able to predict the plot, especially killing of jimmy. Also watching the wire first series and also very impressed. How many of these have they made. Good programme.

CDF-DNB wrote:The wire is a bit slow and dated for the first season, but they obviously got a bigger budget after that because series 2 onwards is amazing. Second only to Sopranos in my opinion.
Read earlier up the thread that someone (the humblegringo) said they gave up after the first season - it's worth putting in the effort and going on to the second series because it gets amazing.
And if you like Boardwalk and The Wire there is a show called Breaking Bad all about a chemistry teacher who starts making crystal meth, and that's of the same standard just about. It's class.

You won't be disappointed.
Except for the fact that the main character (one of the actors in Green Street) still cannot do accents.
