I for one have allways known this and I have gone out of my way whenever travelling abroad, to point out to the locals that Wales is not a part of England, but there is a paradox in that we has a club compete in the English system, if you had your choice of an indipendent Wales and not being in the English football league what would your choice be?

There are plenty of other examples of this happening across the world, so I wouldn't be too worried about that. I think I'm right in thinking there are also Canadian Ice Hockey teams that play in the American NHL????

Wales always was a country, is a country and always will be a country.

iv always known this too and im english .wales is a part of uk not england.same way as england is part of uk.if you ever go fully independent i think you,ll be playing neath ect though.can,t see you been allowed in the e.p.l if you were a totally foreign country.thats just one of the things wales have to think about before any final independence.

Never mind about the Ice Hockey, but if Wales broke away from the UK it would indeed be the Welsh Premier League for us. Bala away anyone ? Or perhaps Newtown ? Looking forward to Afan Lido home. Think we'll get 23,000 for that ?

As for Welsh City Dragon, he's probably an egg-chaser
