The best part is they beat you with a stick for 4 years only to stop about 12 months before an election. The masses then are so thankful that they stopped beating us that they vote them back in.Then they start all over again.

Have you seen Life of Brian? There's a bloke chained to the wall in the jail and he's greatful and loves the Romans just because they turned him the right way up on the wall.!!! And he's greatful to be let down for a few minutes everyday. "Bloody good race, the Romans".... These working class Tory voters are exactly like that guy... too f*cking dull for their own good.

Try this site http://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk they provide brilliant how to fill out DLA form information sheets to download if you are a member, about £17 for a non professional. It's a really good site they also provide training for some welfare rights departments.
Also when they take away the middle rate care allowance there are some people who will lose their Severe Disability Payment as well in all about £70 a week plus I'm not sure how it effects Carers Allowance. It is also starting to sound like the new "Unified Benefit" is potentially going to be a nightmare.

Now the Bankers or should I say wankers, are now sitting on there yachts and on there privet beaches with big bonuses and not a care in the world, now the disabled people have to suffer for it. My god when will this country start to do something about it. If this was another country they would be mass strikes people in the streets, Marches the country would be up in arms.
But here people just go along with it , bloody pathetic ! For Christ sake stand up to them. They don't give a shit about ordinary people ,and even less about people with a disability.

That is shocking. From what you have discribed your wife should get at least the lower rate mobility and middle (possibly higher) rate care allowance.
Glad to here you are appealling and remember 40% of appeals are successful

The vast majority of new cases are automatically turned down now it seems. Most claims now are only made possible by appeal, which btw can take 2-3 years. The people who test you are paid if they turn you down so it's in their interest to do just that. It's interesting as well that the appeals people are not as independant as they would like you to believe. Thing is though a lot of those turned down are going to lawyers who then fight the case. As we know these lawyers don't do it for nothing so in the end whatever the government save more than then goes to the lawyers.
They did promise to pick on the older claims that are not genuine but I've not seen any evidence of that. They are only picking on the new genuine claims. Probably because they are easier. If you stop any new claims then through natural wastage the number of claims will go down and you don't have to do anything for that to happen.

If i remember correctly, wasn't it the torys that started telling people to go on diabillity benefit rather than unemployment benefit to make the unemployment figures go down?

I'm not going to pollute my screen with that vile newspaper by clicking that link, so I don't know what that Hitler supporting Nazi paper has to say on the issue. But I can guess.
What they always fail to grasp is the situation people find themselves in are often forced upon them by others in the first place. You take this so called big benefit scam that they harp on about. It was the Tory goevernment who took the jobs away, then to make the unemployment figures look better they forced people on to sickness benefits.
So if fit people are on sickness benefits it's only because they were forced that way. These same people protested and fought to keep their jobs. Not one of them phoned in sick telling the boss "I'm not going out to work any more, I'm going to scam the benefits instead." Every single one of them wanted to keep their jobs. The governments took that away from them against their protests, so it's hardly fair for Tory scum to now complain about it. What the Tory's need to do, is rather than just spend every waking moment blaming every fucker esle, is actually get off their arses and create some jobs for people to go out to. That's how you cure benefit cheating.
