Two players I believe would take us up

Rumour is that we're trying to sign Tommy Smith and Jamie Mackie from QPR.
I know we don't have a lot of strength in depth, but these two players are utter class and exactly what we need. They work hard, have great ability and are WINNERS.
I think if the Malaysian backed Malky with these two players, they would give us that little bit extra that we need this season to reach the promised land.
I would be totally satisfied with these two players coming in. Jamie Mackie, would be a real statement of intent if we signed him!

They are both very good players, my theory would be that as they play in the same mould (right wing or up top) we would go after one or the other. However, if we could do some sort of deal and say pay £1.5m and getbthe two of them, I'd be happy with that
