POMPEY & PALACE TICKET SALES
Posted on: Tue 17 Jan 2012
Tickets for the Bluebirds' upcoming home fixtures against Portsmouth and Crystal Palace continue to sell well.
For Portsmouth this coming Saturday we've hit the 21,000 mark and expect up to 2,000 Pompey fans here on the day. Malky Mackay's men will be looking to close the gap to potentially one point on the current joint leaders, Southampton and West Ham United.
Coming up next Tuesday of course is our Carling Cup Semi-Final second leg clash with Crystal Palace. The Eagles come to Cardiff City Stadium with a slender 1-0 lead from the first leg, meaning the Bluebirds will need to rely on our fantastic home-support to help bump them over the line and reach Wembley!
We have currently sold approximately 22,000 tickets inclusive of Palace fans for the tie. The away end for the fixture has been sold to capacity, seeing approximately 3,800 tickets sold to Eagles fans. Cardiff City Stadium can hold just over 26,500 based on segregation lines and the hope is to beat the number of supporters who were here for the Leicester City Play-Off semi final back in May 2010. With a week until the tie, there's still plenty of time - LET'S SUPPORT THE BOYS!! CLICK HERE TO BUY YOUR PALACE TICKETS
