if we are to go up this season...

Tue Jan 17, 2012 9:42 am

itll be through the play offs, in my opinion, with 20 league games to go and the amount of points we have now (46) we will need 80 points to guarentee a play off place, leaving 36 points to gain (12 wins) i believe we can win 12 games :ayatollah:

these are the games i think we will win,

portsmouth (home)
blackpool (home)
leicester (Away)
peterborough (home)
hull (home)
bristol city (away)
coventry (home)
millwall (home)
watford (home)
barnsley(away)
derby (home)

any one agree ? :ayatollah:

to get to 80 points, the teams outside the play off positions at the moment would have to average over 2 points per game from now until the end of the season. Not even Southampton and West Ham are currently averaging 2 points per game. We wont win 12 more games either in my opinion, we draw too often. 9 more wins, 6 draws and 5 defeats gives us 33 more points taking us to 79. Still more than enough for the play-offs.

IMHO, We wont need 80 points to reach the play-offs, I think 80 points would actually give us automatic. We finished on 80 points last season along with Swansea, QPR 88 pts and Norwich 84 pts, Forest finished in the last play-off place with 75 points which tells me that we will probably need around 74 points to make the play-offs. Its a harder division this season and all teams are taking points of one another and there wont be much in it between the top 6 teams.
It's happening this season for the mighty Bluebirds, BELIEVE.....
