How on earch we bring through so many decent young players is beyond me. Im a life long Bluebird but have lost a little respect due to the club over promising to watch our players at my local team. We have several decent lads that are worth a watch, but are yet to witness a CCFC club scout at a game to date. As much as it pains me, the Jacks scout is always around cardiff sniffing about for players under our noses and by all accounts has taken some decent players up there. Why are our own clubs officials so relaxed about this, as if things dont change, we will no longer be able to hold out from letting our talented youngsters join the inbreds! Has anyone else witnessed Swansea about more than CCFC, or feel that our club

isnt monitoring enough games as grass roots?

I don't think thats quite right, I know that during CCFC have a large network of scouts in West Wales and do pick up the kds ,it seems that Swansea are becoming more organised and visible I beleive the rule of not poaching player outside your catchment area is changing

This is very true just lost my striker to Swansea who is now there best player did take him to Cardiff and they said he wasn't good enough already scored 10 at Swansea in 4 matches and they have very high hopes of him making the grade.
Thw Swansea scout watches about 10 of our games a season and monitors players from all over Cardiff have not seen a Cardiff scout all season.

Why scour West Wales when there is bags of talent on there own doorstep? At the end of the day, my lads are all CCFC and would rather hold out for them, but there attendance is poor. I have seen the Swansea scout several times and have been introduced once. He is a coloured guy called Greg, ex bluebird apprentice ironically. But the bottom line is that Swansea are starting to breakthrough and nab players and City are sitting and watching. Well done Birch for not letting your heart rule your head, I wont be in future.

You have to do what is right for the kids if Cardiff don't want them you have to look at other options know Craig well even been to watch us train.
