I can't get over the number of empty seats. Wigan fans will never see world class players again after they go down this season. Their last chance to see a world class Man City team and they can't even sell out their stadium. As already said, they're a rugby town.

I actually had a decent night out in Wigan after we lost 4-0 to them with Alan Cork promptly sacked!

I think this will be their last season in prem after the last God knows relagation escapes on the last day.

Problem with Wigan is that as its near Manchester alot of people will be Man Utd and now Man City supporters.

Should of had a sell out then! Wigan to me is Rugby League - both then I'm sure Wigan football fans will say Wales to them is Rugby Union.

wigan is not a rugby town they get even smaller crowds than the football

Depends on the opponents - if Saints/Rhinos/Bulls, they get a great crowd - like 24K (aka sell out). Still do the 'Wigan walk'! Historically/traditionally Wigan is RL - think BBC's Grandstand during the 90s.
