Players and staff sacked by administrator with immediate affect, youth team to play next league game. Club looks like its going to go out of business! Very sad times indeed, another club lost and 128 years of history vanishing.

That is sick and it winds me up how it can be allowed to happen with so much money in the game.

Obviously its not as easy as this, but I would write a letter to the Man City owners with a heartfelt plea for a few million off of them. Look at it this way, the amount they are paying Teves to sit at home being 'punished' by Mancini, would go much further than just saving Darlington...ITS FOOKING MENTAL!

Sadly, they have an average attendance of around 1000. They have a product nobody
wants. The 128 years of History doesnt mean enough to the people of Darlington as a
whole.

Wonder what will happen to that ground of theirs?

Maybe Huw Jenkins could purchase it cheap and get it hauled down to Jackland! Wouldn't be a bad move considering it does hold 7k more than their cinema sized calamity.
