Gary Speed celebration match tickets

We had a meeting with the FAW last Friday(FSF Cymru) and they said that over a third of the tickets had been sold already and they were expecting a great crowd.

Plans are being put in place for a celebration of Gary Speeds life rather than a wake and many ex players and managers will be present...also pre match entertainment is taking place with many top pop groups being asked to perform although we know for sure that the Stereo-phonics are unfortunately unable to attend.

They also said that any new manager will be asked to continue the programme set up by Speed and the team..although it will be a celebration of Gary's life the match itself is being taken seriously and will be part of the World cup warm up game preparations...there will be an away game in May but no details are available yet.

Please get tickets for this game and let it be a sell out

Is it just me or does anyone else get the feeling that this game should be at the Millenium?

Hope to go to it with the girlfriend (who's English!) as she has said she wants to go to a Wales game at some point.
Nice to see they are planning it as more of a celebration too.
