Since the Blackpool playoff heartache..................

Fri Jan 13, 2012 10:00 pm

Honest answers please.
Do you think our Malaysian backers have been twice bitten and said no more thanks!!!!!!! I guess our pasted team of stars should have seen off Blackpool? So our board backed DJ and brought in CB to strengthen the team and other loanee's to get us to the EPL.

This approach failed and further debts were added to an already deep, deep hole. Last season was a total disaster and DJ paid the price. We now have a manager who has to pick up the pieces and re-focus on another push to the EPL. Vincent Tan has put in a vast amount of money to keep us afloat but has taken the cautious approach this year and looks to be keeping a check on expenditure. I truely believe Malky is working his stones off to produce a team that has the same work ethic as he and his staff.

I hope Malky gets to Wembley and the EPL but we know have a manager with passion and a will to succeed and his hardwork I'm sure will bring promotion.

Im of the opinion that if the Malaysians were looking to only consolidate this season, they would have kept Dave Jones at the helm, they are still paying his salary while hes on the golf course after all.
During January well probably see the likes of West Ham ,leicester and Southampton spending millions and biggish names going there ,this isnt going to happen at Cardiff. I firmly believe Tan will allow Malky at least one signing while not blowing big bucks and leaving us facing administration again.

I applaud the job they are doing.

Well said don't forget DJ was put on a rolling contract so was always going to be paid a full years salary hence his golf has improved and to rub our noses in it is getting further income from Skys as a pundit!!!!!

At a guess I would say that the malaysians are paying out a lot more this season than last season.

Also the squad that got us to the play/off final I would say was smaller than this one. Mass amount of injuries for weeks only Rae, wildig and Taiwo to play in midfield at times.

Bare in mind that the malaysians didn't take over officially until after this game as well.
