Saw a few down there this week whilst working there, I thought Neath was primarily made up of Jacks?

Always been a good following in Neath.

I used to live in Neath for 7 years and allways wore my City shirt wherever I went, even into the town. I allways saw the odd City shirt, and my next door neighbours were Bluebirds, they took me to my first City match in 2005.
Theres also a lot in Port Talbot, if you look at the roofs on houses near the beach you'll see a City flag somewhere.
Also am I right in saying they dont allow Cardiff V Swansea shown in the pubs in Neath town?

Many years ago, when I was still living at home with my parents in Cardiff, I was aware of the fact that we had a lot of fans in the Port Talbot and Neath areas (I met some of them at the time, on away trips etc).

I moved to Neath in 1992 and I'm still meeting new people who support CCFC. I was talking to an Employment Support worker earlier this week and mentioned football, she said "you're not a Jack are you?" I don't think she sussed my Kay-arr-diff accent, but it made me laugh all the same. She mentioned her Dad went to the Boro match recently and he hadn't been for about 30 years before that. Where's he been?

There are Jacks in Neath, some are OK and some are as you'd expect (bitter, smalltown boys), but I'll survive. I can spot the Jacks quite easily, because they're the ones who react to my accent. Also, most of the local plastics who watch Man U, Liverpool etc on the telly and claim to support them, are usually closet Jacks.

Cardiff City have got some fanatical supporters in the Neath and Port Talbot areas - it's great to see. Where I grew up in Cardiff, there weren't many CCFC supporters, they were mostly TV supporters of English clubs.

I was brought up in baglan and I'll happily admit its the only area of port talbot where there were more jacks, but nowhere else. And the lads from the 80s have all got kids growing up following cardiff.
Most of the swans fans I know now have only been going in the last couple of years. lots of rugby fans taking their children.

Neath has a lot of CCFC supporters, always has, and Port Talbot probably has an even higher percentage.

Plenty of Jacks around at the moment. I'm not denying that.
