A positive spin on a concern I have with city!

A concern with city for me is this statistic which says that City have dropped the most points, 16 from winning positions this season. It is a given that you are not going to win every game & everybody knows that but with even half of those 16 Pts we would be 6 Pts clear at the top. As we say at the end of every season if only...
But looking at this positively, we have opened the scoring 18 times which is unrivalled in the division. It is much better to Go in front and hold a lead rather than concede and have to chase the game. If your chasing all the time your constantly on the back foot & confidence eventually will suffer. But although we may have dropped points, we rarely lose which again breeds confidence.
It is a testament to Malky that although we have dropped these 16pts we are in touching distance of the top 2 & hard to beat. We have lost very few games this season showing we can bounce back when we do lose & this fills me with confidence for tomorrow's game after narrowly being edged out in the carling cup on Tuesday.
So hopefully we will beat Donny tomorrow. Let's face it we'd rather be fighting at the top than down the bottom where they are!

Irrespective of all the stats, Malky has got a brand new team two points
off the top of the division. We are improving as a side all the time.
