As for the word skint, it really grinds on me, just because we are not spending money on players does not mean the club is skint. It just means we are living within our means and actually running like a business for a change and considering the last few years you would think our fans would be grateful of that.

If we are skint as you call it,why in Gods name do we not have anyone who runs this club have the guts to say so

i hope so we get a few before the end of the window but i really can not see it myself and of course we are living within are means im guessing why we will not see new faces thats why the owners have supposed to be pumping in 1million a month in the club to keep us afloat which was posted on here but i dont know how true that is.

To describe what we have got as "not a lot" is slightly harsh. We are 3rd and that means 21 other teams would like to have what we've got

You are, of course, right that we need more numbers but I'm not sure it necessarily has to happen in this window if the quality ain't available. There are loans to be considered and some quality players who don't get sold in January but still can't get a game with their clubs could be released for loans once the window is closed

One other thing to consider. DJ had his first XI and they played the majority of games but that isn't necessarily the case this season with Malky changing players and formations meaning that a number of players have been rotated. Of course, Whitts, Miller, Gunarsson, etc have played virtually all games but then again I'm sure they wouldn't be rotated even if we got 4 or 5 new players in because they are so key.

I'd still like to see fresh legs come in but I'm not so sure that nobody coming in would be the end of our season. Don't forget we were down to the bare bones in 2010 for the run in and we still got to the play-off final
