It won't be the end of the world if no one comes in,it may take to last few days of window to get something done.doesn't sound too confident to me,hope he does get a couple in at least.

Yeah Money Talks but "lack of" is becoming a common quote from us lately...

It wont be the end of the world but I honestly believe we need to bring in at least 2 players to maintain our promotion push

Annis your spot on and I don't believe we have agreat deal of money at this particular time? I'm with youon the fact that we have a small squad and a few injuries will put a big dent in our charge to the EPL. I guess you more that most will know what's going on but the side is playing well and working hard for each other so we as supporters must get behind the team and show our supprt for theteam

lets just wait and see, managers play all sorts of mind games during transfer windows. If they seem to desperate to sign players any offers they do make the selling club raise their price.

It probably depends on getting to the final of the Carling Cup...

Club will hold out for as long as they can , but may drop the price near the end of the window if they really need the money. We may get a better deal then.

DO the club like paying (reasonable)transfer fees ? Answer no

It may not be the end of the world if we dont add to our squad but i will tell you it will be the end of our promotion dream and it might and i repeat might be the beginning of the fans starting to lose faith in Malky

I do'nt know about losing faith in Malky, but guaranteed, if the club ruin the chances of getting promoted, by not bolstering the team in this window, then i can see the uptake on season tickets for next season, falling dramatically.

Ive been saying this for months annis and getting called a tw*t,wanker, idiot the works just for thinking it

i hope we sign 3-4 but i doubt there will be any

meh, theres prob a few reasons why we wont. i.e. a player not fitting malkys strict transfer policy, clubs demanding silly money. being out bid by clubs with more money. i dont think its just because we havent got money.
i doubt the current squad can maintain the consistency until the end of the season but then again i wasnt expecting us to be 2 points off top after christmas.
its not panic stations just yet.

Didn't we have even less players when we pushed on to the playoffs in 2009? I seem to remember that Darcy and Gerrard were the only fit centre halves left for what seemed like ages?
And Ledley was out for months aswell.
I think the small squad actually helped foster a strong spirit. Arguably, we have more strength in depth now than we did then!
Yes, we all know that we need another striker and a fast midfield wide player, but I agree with MM when he says it won't be the end of the world if we don't get anyone.
Don't forget, there are still 18 days left in the transfer window, and the loan window re-opens in the week after that!
Lets not panic!
