That's the way I see it. His management of Ipswich Town is falling apart so he needs to find another scapegoat to give himself a restbite.

I can't see that happening here though and he should have stayed well away from any kind of sexist remarks.

I just seen the incident on SSN and tbh it wasnt even her decision to make, I dont see how she could have possibly have made an informed decision, the ref was certainly at fault.

I couldn't believe the referee and assistants allowed him to lecture them on the pitch after the game. Surely the referee should have flashed the red card at him, at least that would keep him in the stands for a few games.

The reality is Jewell is doing an absolutely useless job at Ipswich and it cannot be long before they tip over the line and the board get rid.

If they act soon at least he won't have to face any FA ban because he will be out of work and by the time anyone is daft enough to give him another job it could well become the longest time to serve a ban in the history of the sport.

To be honest some of the female lines women we've had at ccs, have been inadequate for our standard of football.
i personally dont like women officials in a male played game.

Yes .As the rules stand it is an impossible job for Referees with interpretation of the Laws so complex. And stupid laws at that !! for which Refs have to adhere to or risk there position as a top Ref.

It is sexist to persume or insinuate that Jewells comments were sexist. He has said nothing wrong, he merely pointed out that the linesperson got the decision wrong.

If he had been asked the same question about a male official, the reply would have been 'not evey man' or something akin to that. Not sexist, and I am sure many, many female Ipswich fans agree with their managers assessment of the situation.

I wouldn't want him as our manager , I don't rate him at all.
