Dave Jones applies for 5 different Championship jobs, fails to get any of them and ends up a sky pundit, you usually get that job when your washed up.

And Dave Jones allegedly has been too busy taking in his new favourite sport Netball hasn't he to worry about new jobs.Maybe he can have a new career in netball management.

Karl and Aramore you are spot on - some people are like a dog with a bone and refuse to move on.

We are still paying him. I would say that entitles us to slag the failure off.

Is progression year after year failure? When he took over he had fewer players than MM and everything being sold. Progression is a word I would use to describe his time here, followers by bottler

I wont go down this route again, DJ as far as I am concerned is a bottler/pig headed/arrogant and could not stand Cardiff fans all facts.

Dave Jones did his best to disconnect the club and players from the fans. Regardless of whatever he did or didn't achieve on the pitch I will never respect him after the way he treated the fans and certain players...
I was in the vale once and he was chatting to some guy (perhaps an agent) and I overheard him say "you know what they are like down this way" with as much disdain as I have ever heard.
Much less successful managers have left (sacked) with better reputations. That tells you something about Jones and his relationship with the fans.
Plus the liberties that he and Ridsdale took while at the club were just awful. Ask the kitchen staff. Stock takes now are much more accurate then when Jones was around!!!!
