" LATEST ON CRAIG NOONE "

Mon Jan 09, 2012 8:57 pm

Contrary to reports elsewhere City have made just the one offer thus far for Craig Noone and that was for £400k.

Malky Mackay will decide whether or not to make an improved offer once we have played Palace tomorrow.

Will we make an improved offer? I believe we will but have not as of this moment in time.

As this develops I will keep you updated.

With regards to Earnie, I can tell you that no offers have been made or no enquiries have been made for Earnie either but as with any player if the right offer comes in for a fringe player then CCFC will act upon it, so any talk of Earnie being a make weight in the Noone offer is wide of the mark.

On Friday evening Earnie said that he is not going anywhere and today I am told that no offers or enquiries have been made and Earnie's 'goodbye wave' was nothing more than us the fans reading into something more than what it was, just an applause.

Francisco Sandaza has been linked with City recently and the story behind this rumour is that Rangers have made an offer for him but they have chosen to use a different agent than the players agent this has created a bit of a row between the agents and as a result Sandaza's agent has claimed that a Championship club has shown interest and the press has put 2 and 2 together and come up with Cardiff.

There are no deals imminent regarding players coming in to Cardiff and as I said last week I don't expect anything to happen within the first 2 weeks of January.

Sandaza's move to Rangers is more likely to be scuppered by Rangers finances. Rangers shares were suspended today and if the high court case against them re Taxes goes wrong then they will be in administration.

Regarding Earnie i think he knows the writing is on the wall and although no deal has been agreed the way he waved to the fans was a definite good bye.

.

id agree with that, me and my dad noticed at the start of the season when he was playing that he seemed to take ages at the end of the game waving and clapping the fans for a good few mins more than the other players. i think people just assumed it was a goodbye as he hasn't played in ages and he did it again. for me its just what he always does.

If west brom have really offered four million

be willing to go close to five. (opening offer see)
Not only is it a test for the clubs resolve but
also for whitts. there will be a big wage on offer
here. this team has clicked now. we mustnt lose

thought it was a sell out for home and away and that they sold 4000 for away leg

http://www.cpfc.co.uk/page/News/0,,1032 ... 91,00.html

also the info that carl post regarding Craig noone last night was well off the mark, I know the family and the amount of bid`s that city have put in a wide off the mark and the amount city have bid is also well off the mark.

I don`t know where your getting your info off but that`s well wrong.........

I wonder if an improved Noone bid will depend on whether we make (or look very likely to make) the Carling Cup Final?

An appearance at Wembley will net at least £50,000 in prise money and a quarter of the gate money (guess £600,000)

Looking at the Palace site, it seems to me that they have released more tickets due to demand. Seats that are not normally available. Maybe returns from us? Just guessing.

Secondly, be interesting to know the correct details you have about the Noone bids. Feel free to keep us appraised.

Be nice to get some correct info. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I have been asked not to release the info which I can totally understand due to no bids being accepted.

I will release info at a later when I can,

But the info given to carl seems way off the mark, not having a go at Carl because the info he gives out is nornally pretty good

Not being funny mate but we could all pull that one. You have created a situation where you can't lose as you simply say whatever info that comes out in the future was the same as what you have now.

Carl has put his neck out and told us what he knows, which is in direct contrast to your hiding behind the 'I can't tell you' excuse.

Basically if you can't disclose then you shouldn't have mentioned anything any way and certainly not had a go at someone who has told us something.

Palace have more seats available as they took back all the remaining Cardiff tickets. They are now selling first come first served and slowly filling the ground. your link states that the away leg for them is sold out.

I had inside information but had been sworn to secrecy, but no I can announce that Mark Hughes will get the QPR job.
