League Cup Semi-finals:
The four fifth round winners compete in this round. The ties are played over home and away legs, with the aggregate scores being used to determine the winners.
If the aggregate scores are level at the end of the 90 minutes of the second leg, then extra time takes place to determine the winner.
If after extra time the aggregate tie still prevails, the away goals rule determines the winner. However if there is no separation here, a penalty shootout takes place until there is a winner.

If you agree with those rules then you agree palace have got an advantage over us if we are level after 180 mins, say we drew 2-2 away then 1-1 after 90 mins at home, then the game go's to extra time and we score another goal each which ends the tie 4-4 on agg scoring 2 away goals each so takes the game to pens, that means we could have gone through after 180 mins scoring 2 away goals to their 1 so palace have the advantage of playing half hour away more than us to get more away goals, how can that be fair?????
And this is how Wigan ko Arsenal many moons ago.

IF The scores are eg.. Palace 2-1 Cardiff and then Cardiff 1-0 Palace = the agg scre is 2-2.
Extra time is played and if its 0-0 at the end of Extra time ....Cardiff go to the Final = On the away goal rule.
