To penalise clubs who sack Managers without good Reason IE grosse misconduct etc etc not based on a few results and because there are higher profile managers available ..... Just a thought.

Most of the time these guys get their contract paid up when sacked so technically they're being paid off early. If they were getting sent packing with zilch then maybe, but the LMA would be there to fight their corner for them?
