Spanish striker played for Brighton last year and moved to st Johnson, got 9 goals in 15 games for them, and in total 45 goals in 104 appearances, is a 6ft 27yr old target man.

Doesn't seem to be well rated up there? So will he be any good in the championship? Remember Brighton got shot of him....

Never been overly impressed with him. Has had a good run of late at Saints though. Rangers appear to be favourites to land him in the media up here. Unless Saints offer him a big payday he'll be leaving there for certain. Personally, don't think he'd give us anything we don't already have.

Read further on and see that Liverpool are willing to pay Celtic £4m for Adam Matthews. Just note next time someone says Dave Jones did brilliantly by selling Roger Johnson for £5m, reply by pointing out we missed out on £4m with AM.
