Cheltenham winger/striker. He was born in Cardiff so maybe he supports us? He's 5' 11 so he's not short. Anyone fancy putting a bid in for him?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaid_MohamedCant see it very well but

funny you mention him his step mother used to be my manager in tesco.... by the way he is not championship standard.... conference or league 2!!!

Cardiff, ergo may support us - fallacy number one.
Cardiff, ergo must be good - fallacy number two.

I've played with Kaid, good lower league player and nice guy but nowhere near championship material! Not even close! Steady league two player!

His father supports the City. People on here probably know him.
I always want local boys to do well but Kaid hasn't made it to the higher divisions yet, so I'd be surprised if he did in the future. No offence intended, because I know the family from a long time ago and he seems like a really nice bloke, I just don't think he's for us.

I know Kaid, Ely boy. Went to my school, bit of a bad boy at the time but looks to have done well in the lower leagues...he gotta be in his late 20's now though, got a few years on me. Still, no way is he championship standard.

A few of my mates went up to watch him yesterday. Decent player at his level

used to play against him as a youngster for about 6 years, used to be a decent striker for trelai. been at a few clubs now and scores quite a few, but not championship player

In my year at school, decent player (not the bet in our year), no where near championship level but a decent lower league player

Kaid played for Carmarthen Town in the Welsh Premier League, when Mark Jones from Grangetown was manager. He won a Welsh Cup winners' medal a few years ago. Watch Carmarthen a bit, when there is no clash with CCFC. Kaid was an excellent player at that level, but it's a bit of a move up to the Championship. I know that he's been around the non-league scene a bit, but have not seen him play for a while. Might be worth giving him a trial. After all, Paul Parry came into the side from non-league, fairly late in his career. Paul did OK.

He's 27/28 this school year. Bags of pace but wouldn't cut it in the Championship, top guy though, played for carmathen when Martyn Giles was playing there, also had spells with Swindon and Torquay amoungst others

Creany CCFC
Remember Martyn Giles. He too was in Mark Jones' team. Good player at that level. Both Kaid and Martyn left to try their luck at a higher level, which they have managed well. Championship may be a step too far though. Last I heard of Martyn he was with Andy Legg at Llanelli. Has been with Newport County as well.
Remember watching Carmarthen play FC Copenhagen at Ninian Park, early 2000s. Can't remember if Kaid played, but Martyn did. 2-0 to Copenhagen. A comfortable 2-0 though!
Played at Ninian because Carmarthen's ground did not meet UEFA standards at the time, although it does now. Carmarthen asked Swansea if they could use the (then) new Liberty stadium, but the Jacks wanted something ridiculous, like 20 grand for it! When Sam heard about this, he offered Ninian Park on a costs only basis, just the stewards etc to pay for. The Jack loving Carmarthen Town board were hugely embarrassed by this, but they took it!
Worst thing Carmarthen ever did was sack Mark Jones. The club has been on the decline ever since. See him down the City sometimes. Another top bloke.
