Being in the lower divisions during the 80s & 90s i beleive we have lost a generation of fans. The fans we got now havent got the passion for football like we had and it shows today at the CCS. It's the older fans trying to get the atmosphere going. I am not comparing the CCS with Ninian Park as we will never get the same atmosphere as the old bear pit. the fans of today like to sit and watch the football they also want to know more what the club directors are upto. Worry more about swansea and what they are doing. i am glade i was around in the 70s 80s 90s thats when football supporters had Passion,Pride and Aggression all standing and singing together really getting behind the boys on the pitch.

Personally I'm lost why so many different sections of Cardiff fans look to blame each other for all the supposed ills at the club. It is not the young, the old, the disabled or corporate fans who are to blame it is all of us.
If something is broken then fix it by taking responisbilty, don't take the cowards way out by looking to blame other people.

The diference with watching city in the 70s and 80s was most of the football on offer was diabolical so we made our own entertainment in the stands and sometimes only looked at the pitch if someone scored![]()
Also in them days there also seemed to be loads of diferent headcases, funny characters that didnt really like football but just came for a laugh![]()
These days we are in a good league and our team play good football and lots of fans just come to watch .

I'm part of this "new generation", I started supporting Cardiff in 2005 when my dad took me to my first game when I was 10 and I've been a season ticket holder since 2007. I go with my mate in the Ninian Stand (117) where my ST seat is and we sing every game. I also go to most away games when I can, depending on money and if I have college or not. Can we stop blaming other fans and just do what we can to get the CCS bouncing. The games we've had at the new stadium such as Cardiff v Leicester in the play offs and Cardiff v Swansea where we beat them 2-1 had an amazing atmosphere, so no one can say we can never create a good atmosphere. I would actually compare those two games to the atmosphere we created from the last few years at Ninian Park.

the fact that they are going to the games and not sat watching utd or lpool on tv is something, i am 26, and i cant pretend to have gone to my first game age 6 months and seen it all through 25 years or anything. but i do know that i go to the games i buy the shirt and i spend most of my day on messageboards and the website and checking bbc etc for any new gossip or stories.
i think that is what matters if people want to go to the game and check their phones and do their hair then good for them, they could be out nicking your tv while you're at the game instead, or sat on the sofa watching sky
