" WEST MIDLANDS POLICE AT WBA "

WBA v CARDIFF CITY

The Forum bus along with another 8 coaches just met by at least 10 police bikes, plus 8 police cars and vans full of police, part of the motorway blocked off to escort them in, they did the same with the earlier coaches.

What a waste of money.

If it's good enough for the Royal Family to be escorted and have a closed rolling road, then its good enough for the famous Cardiff City, and don't let the world forget it.

The worst part is being escorted out the long way adding and extra half hour on the trip home

Aye, I can see that from the Chelsea footage - not.

It'll take a lot longer for the police to trust your lot and seeing as you are a person who has admitted a less than glorious past in this area, I would suggest that it is a bit rich for you to be moaning about it.

As I said, you reap what you sow. If you hadn't gone around in the past like you did, your club wouldn't now have these restrictions.

Just my opinion of course.

Yes I do admit it, so you've got no skeletons in your cupboard, squeaky clean are you ?

But we spend millions on football intelligence and the police know nowadays who is going to the away games etc. So 95% of these games they no there will be virtually no trouble at all.

No, I have no skeletons in my closet. As I would imagine 95%+ of football supporters wouldn't.

Due to your history as a group of fans the police obviously feel they still can't trust you and while incidents like Chelsea pop up, whenever you take a decent following away you will continue to get restrictions.

That is no ones fault except those who have caused trouble in the past.

but you assume that should make a difference
as far as football supporters are concerned they have very few rights
the government clamped down on football supporters after hillsborough
they used the law to control us
when the law didnt work in their favour they changed the law or created new laws that only football supporters have to adhere to
football supporters are some of the most controlled members of the public
they have turned watching football into a crime

940 CURRENTLY SERVING POLICE OFFICERS IN ENGLAND & WALES HAVE CRIMINAL RECORDS AND THEIR CRIMINAL RECORDS ARE FAR WORSE THAN BEING ARRESTED AT FOOTBALL MATCH.

What the hell as that got to do with Cardiff being restricted at away games due to past indiscretions :?

In fact, never mind. It's clearly not worth having the conversation.

actually there isnt much difference if you take the capacity of our stadium in relation to our current banning orders the percentage is 0.5%
then if you take your figure of 940 serving police officers with criminal records of 141000 serving police officers according to the police federation numbers they have a percentage of 0.7%
so the difference is marginal
but its interesting how even small percentages can effect the majority

Why not escort us home the same way we came?

No trouble on the way in. It would have saved a lot of time!

Remember that our buses were parked facing up the hill. When we left we just turned right at the top of the hill, then right again, travelled paralell with the incoming route for about a mile until we then joined the existing route which we travelled in on. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Instead of being a little keyboard warrior gloating and trying to ruffle people's feathers from the safety of your little caravan, pop along to the ninian pub one saturday and let's see how straight talking and smug you are face to face! At end of the day you only come here to gloat and for nothing more! So in my eyes mate you are constantly spouting shit! You should be on your own board discussing all things gypsy ! Instead your more interested in Cardiff city!...strange!!
