i think its based on the fact that vt's estimated fortune went down by about 8 mill last year.
if the club needed a mill a month to stay afloat we'd be in some real deep shit.

They are due by the end of March.

They Malaysians have put in a minimum of £12m so far, and I'd estimate they will need to put in £4 to keep the wage bill at a reasonable level, PLUS transfer fees and have already paid £800k Miller, £750k turner, £250k Gunnersson, £250k Mason.. plus singing ons agents fees etc.. £2.5-£3m.

So even if we only spend say £1-£1,5m now they will be looking at £8m this year.

The £1m per month is probably close as don'e forget they don't have to put it in EVERY month as at some points we have lump sums in like Tv income and season tickets. However the cashflow will be 'lumpy' and the outgoings fairly stable, so there will be months when they have to put in £1-£1.5m just to cover wages/expenses.

so basically then there was talk of a 20 mill budget and half of that roughly is personally invested by the malaysians our income stream from home games must be 12-15 mill then we got the blues rental on the stadium, tv, sponsorship, cup games, merchandise etc etc

So how much income does an average home game generate then..? and do you know for sure that we paid all transfer fees in cash upfront because I would really doubt that. Also you mention that income streams can be 'lumpy' well surely they would manage those finances to cover the full year

How the hell do you expect me to now all that.

The wage bill will be somehting like £2-£3m per month. Each home game would have an ave of 4k walk-up at say £20 ave each, £80k. Forget walk-up gates when you are looking at the clubs income, with 18000 seaosn ticket holders we are more-or-less living off TV money and ST money, oh and what the backers put in.

The income streams are 'lumpy' but nowhere near enough to cover running cost, we've lost about £6m a season for the last 2 years trying to compete, without major transfers in/out. It may be abit less this year with less of a wage bill (whilst we are still paying for the old staff then maybe not so much less), but we've had a net transfer expenditure of £2m (part, probably half of Chopra's wages would have gone to Ranson, even if it didnt have to go to Sunderland).. with more to come .

As for transfer fees up frnt, the details fo the deal has never been publicised, even if half was put back that would only make £1m of difference -and it will still have to be paid at some point.

The next accounts to be published will show last season, not this season.

So you are willing to believe anything when it's anti-cardiff but not willing to believe anything that relfects the club in a good light! just sums up what a total prick you are

Income from home games aren't just the price paid by the walk-up crowd you know. Also I would roughly work out the wage bill at £1.5 million rather than the £2-£3 million which you quoted

Well programme and merchandise sales 50/50 sales but we don't make anything on food and drinks.
Also have to count expenditure, stewards, ticket office staff, club shop staff, lighting heating etc
