Yes, Cardiff have come a long way in the last 10 years, but you'll never be a Leeds, or a Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs etc - you have nil history and average support.

You may have have the upper hand in recent games but come on, you've been playing probably one of our sides in our History, so congratulations. At ER this season you were very lucky to get a draw but when you're taking 4-5000 to every away game as a minimum where permitted, then you might start to call yourself a big club.

I was speaking to a lad from leeds season ticket holder who was down here over New years visiting my mate.

he said that cardiff game destroyed leeds, and he's been to loads of away games and back here since, but that F.A cup game he was absoloutely shitting himself never been so scared in his life ,
the players were defo shooken by the experience you could just tell they looked so tense on the pitch especially in our end

All they have and ever will have is their history. Fanbase doesn't make champions, champions do make a fanbase however...hence their numbers, you cant discredit past glory, but that's what it is. Will it continue if they continue to stay in the championship for a few decades?? I can see new blood looking for a success story elsewhere, whether it be as an armchair supporter on down the road. Leeds are quiet fortunate that Yorkshire is pretty big and Leeds United are the only true sucess story of all the clubs in that area, so masses have taken to them and sticked with them, not only regionally but on a national scale too. Yorkshire though, isnt as big as Wales, a country of millions and 4 clubs in the English system, If this is Cardiff's support with no history then roll on the silver wear, the newly found fan base and the generations of new blood who would fall in love with their dads stories of Cardiff's glory days when we were the best in the land. It will happen, in my life or the next...it will happen, and we it does, we will f*cking EXPLODE! Mark my words, ill be sitting on a cloud looking down doing the ayatollah when it happens.
