Adam Matthews rumour

Liverpool are considering a move for Celtic's Welsh right-back Adam Matthews, with sources suggesting the club are contemplating a bid for the 19-year-old

can we not get over this now? its boring me, whats done is done, he left us ages ago and even then i wasnt a massive fan

Of course what's done is done your right. But what's irritating is that the fans always said he had potential to go far as a player and become a valuable asset to the club. DJ didn't give him the chance or opportunity to become that asset. Simple as that really.

Although on a side note I grant you we have had threads about such topics before, I'm merely pointing out a rumour circulating in the press about an ex player.

he didnt deserve many as his lapses in defense were shocking.

he didnt deserve many as his lapses in defense were shocking.


At the time he was a prospect for the future with potential in my opinion, he has proved that by doing enough in scotland to draw the attetion of Liverpool, so i guess he had potential all along.
Not to mention of course that Sir Alex had his eye on him when he was with us.

I respect your point of view tho Craig, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

if he was that good sir alex would of signed him.... or even come in for him when he was free !
