Ferrie Bodde on loan?

Thu Jan 05, 2012 7:02 pm

Would you if offered?

I know it's extremely unlikely - but with the jacks buying midfielders, and playing well, would you take Bodde if offered, suggestions state he has almost regained his fitness after long term injury - hell obviously be needing game time? What if it's a 2 month loan??

Just curious to see some good replies! ;)

Interesting one, he is without doubt a quality player, but i think his injurys would have taken its toll on him they were both very serious.... and is he really any better than what we have atm? he is untried at this level, all his english football is in league 1

A good player but we are well covered there, I would say a pacy wideman is more important for our squad :ayatollah:

not far off a come back, they have taken ther time with him and not rushed him back as they did last time.
Will take him some time to get up to full match fitness, but when he does will walk straight in to our team, trust me when I say if you get him on loan he will be your best player, probably as he would ours,he has played in the championship as darby were after him,but stayed with us and not long in to our first championship season he got his injury, but he his top quality and probably the best player in a swans shirt I ever seen in his short time,,,

Probs not just physical anymore it's the physcological effects these injuries have had on him, i cant see him comin back to anything near wot he used to be like, just my opinion

He is a great player- but it is 50/50 if he will ever be the same again.

he owes the jacks too - for the help they've given him

I totally agree with you, even when he came back after his first injury, he was injured again. This would have effected his confidence, but there is no doubting his abilities, there were premiership clubs after him at one point.

If DJ was still here, he would def fit his criteria in transfer market, injury prone player or an ex-wolves.

But that said, Malky took a big risk with Ben Turner, who had not played since November 2010, so I guess we got a much better medical team which can determine the fitness of the players, or whether they're capable of playing again.
