One Thing That Really Annoys Me!!!

Wed Jan 04, 2012 11:43 pm

I don't normally start threads about negative issues but one thing has been driving me crazy lately and more so now after reading Carl's EXCELLENT and insightful update tonight.

I hear a lot of people, friends and family included, complain about the Malaysians not investing money into strengthening our team and not being committed to us, but at the same time I don't think the people making these complaints fully understand football or BUSINESS.

Carl pointed out earlier, that the Malaysians only own 49% equity in Cardiff City and they're already bankrolling our club to the tune of 1.2 million a month!

TG and VT are from a part of the world with no emotional loyalty to Cardiff at all, yet they continue to invest their own money in a business, whilst every other shareholder benefits by sitting on their ass.

As the Malaysians spend more money, to develop Cardiff City, the value of the club will rise. Making it more expensive in the future to acquire the other 51% equity in our club.

Everytime they buy a player with 100% of their cash, other shareholders own a piece of that action and the Malaysians don't even own a majority stake in the company.

Anyone who questions VT and TG's commitment to the club is crazy. They are just shrewd businessmen and clearly passionate about CCFC as the club has bled money ever since they've have been in charge - yet they're still here!

In Malky and the Malaysians we trust!!!

Its in their interests to the debt to only be seen to owe 49% stake in the club.

Do you really think they would bank roll 1.2 mil a month whilst the others invest zip ?

Last season people moaned they didn't invest more on signings then had the cheek to moan the debt had risen by even more under te malaysians at the end of the season  that's when I gave up on our fans logic.

Some hate Ridadale and some hate Sam for risking our club with signings we couldn't afford yet demand more signings off the malaysians, again I've lost the logic.

If they hadnt have invested we could have folded.
If they pulled out now clearly we would go into administration or have to sell every asset.

If we are losing 15 million a year thats not very shrewd in fact its as reckless as pete or sam.

But they are paying it and converting it to shares meaning its not ;)

They have had to pay off Peter and his mates who ran the board, we are now paying DJ and his back room staff while paying the current set up as well as comp to watford etc, even better they are actually paying hmrc and the previous debts from companies It's going to cost before it gets better, it seems the cost saving is savings they want to make mostly off the pitch.

Seems like they are cutting back while trying to remain compeitive
