He must have only signed a 2year contract because 18 months ago he was playing for us in playoff final

Ledley signed a 4 yr contract with Celtic after the 2010 Play Off Final.

Last year of his contract. Not according to Celtic it's not.

I'd have him back he has a good work ethic and would suit Malky's style of play. He is also a Cardiff boy and would love to be here to take us up.

im told that joe is enjoying his football, however he is not so fussed on the lifestyle and gets quite a bit of stick when out and about..


if we did have an option of a player back from celtic, i would take matthews.. hes been playing very well lately and would def suit our style of play with the full backs getting up and down the line...

I think he is still learning and with the right coaching, and him moving back to the English leagues (The Prem or the Champ) he can still get better and as you say, time is on his hands...

Rubbish He has a 4 year contract and has not fallen out with anyone. They love him up there even more after last week

Joe Ledley was treated appalingly by CCFC, A hometown player came up through the ranks,captained the team & scoring the goal that took us to the FA Cup Final. He was a offered a p**s poor contract by Ridsdale that if he had signed it would have still made him one of the worst paid players at the club.

Put it this way would you be happy if you were being paid half what someone else was being paid? I doubt it

No and Never. He was and still is slow in body and thought and would mitigate against the type football City are playing under MM.
