The club and Malky said we made a really good offer, problem is he's a liverpool fan so we stood no chance.

If that is the case we must have a shed load of money to spend this month  :ayatollah:

the end of the day 99% of players would play for a prem top 5 team than a championship team
and we were lucky he even played for us so just remeber the fact one of the best players in the prem has actually played for us and not diss him because hes at a better team

I Agree i think we will get players in, if the offer was there for Bells that money should be spent this month, to give us the best chance of going up :ayatollah:

I totally agree with this. I just cannot understand why some people are still bad mouthing Bellamy? He owes us nothing. He went above and beyond to play for us last season when other top teams were knocking on his door. He gave everything in every game and was outstanding when he was here. I am just pleased to have seen him in a Cardiff shirt, even for one season, and I cheer him on every game in the Premiership.

You can say what you want about money but ultimately, if it came down to it, I know a lot who claim they'd take any pay cut and turn down any top club to play for Cardiff in a lower division but if it came down to it and they had to consider their family and other factors, I doubt many would back their words up.

Bellamy would definitely have preferred this team but he's not here so that's it. Who even says we haven't seen the last of him!

Circumstances change though and who can blame him for being caught in an emotional moment. I've said things I've not meant before. It doesn't mean the bloke deserves to be abused for it.

He said it numerous times all through the season, not just the "one emotional moment"

i dont blame bellamy because i was so glad he even played for us and im the same say things all the time but i can understand how fans feel let down aswell and hes probally liverpools best player aswell to make it worst

Re: WHAT TEAM DO YOU THINK BELLAMY WOULD OF

Hes got a few more years left in him and he has his future to think of and he gets the chance to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world as his potential send off after a season of playing for his home town club. Cant fault him for that, cant help but feel if it was someone like Sunderland that came in for him and not Liverpool he may be back here.

I think he would have preferred playing with a team that fought for each other and not give up or lose heart every time we conceded a goal.

actually the club made an offer, but left it too late if i remember rightly.
he had already agree'd personnel terms with Liverpool by the time we made an offer

So a joking token offer then.

Was watching the "Liverpool FC TV" channel about a week ago and the woman on there was interviewing Bellers one to one for an hour (the only reason I tuned in to that station). It was an interesting interview and he mentioned that he managed to come to an agreement to suit both himself and Man City on the last day of the transfer window, he said his agent told him there were 2 clubs in for him Liverpool and Spurs both were pretty much offering the same sort of deal and which one does he want to talk to, the outcome of that we all know now as he is now a Liverpool player, although Spurs came in with a bigger offer just as he was half way through his medical and his agent asked him what did he want to do and he said I'm here and I'm gonna be a Liverpool player. He was also asked about his desire to go back to Cardiff and in not so many words he seemed to be suggesting that we didn't show enough willingness to get him back right from the time he returned to Man City, he also said that he had talked to the board whilst at City suggesting a couple more class signings would be needed to push on. There were only 2 offers on the table on the last day of the transfer window according to his agent..Liverpool and Spurs, not one from Cardiff.
This is what he said in that interview so that last minute bid from us looks a bit like pie in the sky.
Only saying what he said in that one to one interview.

loved bellas playing for us but i have a feeling he only ever wanted to play for us cos all his family was a stone throw from the training ground and the ccs.
Craig gave his all to us nobody can doubt that like i say loved watching him play he has everything in his locker.

The worst thing craig ever said was he was only interested in playing for cardiff city and that he wouldnt play for any other prem team other than man city. That was never gonna happen so that left just us so he went to liverpool.

If he had kept his massive gob shut we would have said fair play thankyou and we all understand why you have to go to liverpool.

I dont think craig was ever a true city fan like he made out i think it was all talk.

However he is a well known liverpool fan.Glad he came to us and loved watching him and wish him all the best but he left a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.Dont think his home town club are his real number 1 team and he should learn to keep his massive mouth shut.

My kids just didnt understand it all and when you say things in public and kids are watching then kids take things literally. He was wrong and let a lot of peolpe down in the end.

As for what team he would like to play in the most well it has to be this years team because they all work for each other and bellamy was the hardest working last season by a mile.

One of the only things Malky has done wrong in his time here and thats tell the fans porkies on behalf of the board when it come to the Bellamy, and other transfer situations (Earnie and no loan signings the other).

Obviously a difficult position having only just taken over and keen to please the owners.
