When it first came out loved it, but then realised the quality was not there for the money. The materials are not quality and a lot of their stuff does not wash well. Also the sizes are much much smaller than the tags say.

I mean most of their tops etc.

Ive only ever buy stone island jackets and coats! I haven't bought anything of stone island for the last 10yrs and the coats ive got are still like new from then! But i agree todays gear looks cheap and nasty and the sizes don't seem to match up!

Can't go wrong with Armani Jeans mate.

The Stone Island jeans don't sit well on trainers and shoes as the legs are far too narrow.

Re: stone island

Them jeans are truly awful.

Re: stone island

always seemed strange how reasonable SI jeans are considering the jackets/jumpers are pretty expensive
always find they come up quite small in tops too so dno what the jeans sizing is like

Levi jeans are not the same quality as they used to be since Levis outsourced their manufacturing to the far east, the same can be said for a lot of clothes these days, Armani jeans last well I find.

I have always loved Stone Island and have loads of S.I. gear but I think other makes are starting to make their impact now like Weekend Offender and Peaceful Hooligan and most Stone Island jackets and coats are only ok for the winter.I also love the Fila and Sergio Tacchini gear, as do most of my mates.

Always thought that Stone Island was class. Trouble with buying jeans is, they think that we are all 6'4" with a 28" waist.

agree... armani and hugo boss jeans fit much better...

i had two tops also.. one knit zip up which after a couple of washes was awful and the long sleeve top i had faded and looked really shabby..
