Stephen Dobbie

Malky, please go and get him. Don't care about his affiliation with Swansea, proven player in the Championship and has the experience of getting out of this division. Also a player that will not break the bank in terms of wages....

Rumour is he's off to Bristol City as a makeweight in a deal for Maynard.

Hope not, because I think he would be a cracking signing.

Maynard us out of contract in 6 months and Bristol want to cash in. The player may prefer a bosman though.

I don't see Swansea making any big name English league signings, he seems to be going for foriegn league players at the moment which makes sense as they're a lot cheaper.

He can always try to get him on the cheap, but there's no way they will get him :ayatollah:

I don't see why we need big name signings, we done that last year and failed. This team is different and I would prefer to add some experience, instead of any over paid big time charlie's.

I dont think we need big names, i just dont think dobbie would make improve our squad to much. Id prefer someone from league 1 or 2 whos impressed. :ayatollah: if we did sign dobbie and turned out a sucsess, then my managment career is over

When Dobbie is on form he can be a great player. Myself, I don't think it matters that a player was with either club and joined the other one, I can think of Alan Curtis, Robbie, James RIP, Andy Legg, Kevin Nugent who were all successful at both clubs and there are bound to be lots more. Dobbie is cack. No thanks, there's not much between him and that other lemon Luke Moore. No better than what we've got.

Promoted twice in last two years from the championship playing a prominent role? Top half most definitely.

Cracking footballer. Scored in play-off semi finals and finals. His one against Forest last year was a cracker.

Jason Bowen, Steve Jenkins can be added to the list.

Please dont put Marustik or Speedy on it though...

I think he would fit in very well

(dont forget Warren Feeney and Jimmy Gilligan!) :ayatollah:

If it's hard working players you're after then Dobbie is not your man.

He's a luxury player who can come on and change a game if needed. He can do wonders with a ball though and a real crowd pleaser when on form.

they're looking to get rid of him because he rejected a new contract so wouldn't surprise me if he leaves on the cheap at the end of the window but on the other hand i wouldn't mind dobbie here he's certainly a good player :ayatollah:
