Tue Jan 03, 2012 5:21 pm

Just read this on Dekel Keinan's twitter:

Dekel Keinan

Palace fans-Thanks for making me feel so welcome.Unfortunately, the two clubs have been unable to reach agreement so I wish you all the best!

well i doubt we want to keep him, so either he is being lined up for another move or palace are being tight !!

That's a pity. Nice guy and would like to see him get 1st team football somewhere.

i think we were trying to offload him to them and they couldnt agree something. so he's come back to we can sell him on.

he's not done alot wrong tbh I rated him was solid good positioning..
maybe he's just not cut out to the championship,

alot of defenders bully players and rough em up big part of the game, keinan maybe a little bit too nice?

It wouldn't bother me if it was Keinan ot Gerrard on our bench.
If we can get a fee for Gerrard we can get someone in a position we need.

Will come in useful for FA cup game

In reality tho MM doesn't rate him so sooner he finds a club the better.

Shame, we could have done with the cash, it's pointless us having him as I don't see him getting back into our team now.

no chance !

I agree about Gerrard and Keinan being the same. If anything, I rate Keinan more than Gerrard. As committed and passionate as Gerrard is, I think his determination and effort can make some blind to how bad he is.

i honestly dont think he is good enough and cannot see him getting infront of turner, hudson or gerrard..

would rather sell him for a fee , however if we can find a loan club for him it will free up the wages...

sorry mg, but i dont think he is ruthless enough to be a quality centre back for us.. he doesnt seem to put his body on the line like the others and was second best for too many balls...

He's the best defender we got with the ball at his feet and better than both Hudson and Gerrard in my opinion

i disagree and i dont see a future for him here, and i dont think malkay does either. he might get a chance against west brom but unless he pulls off a world class one he is as good as gone.

i think thats half the reason he is back.

we dont want to give palace extra cover and players in this busy period, by the 2nd leg there centrebacks wont have as much rest.

reading on their forums pages they are pondering whether the club will have to play with 3 across the back as they dont have any cover...

i hope this is the case..

if we can get a two goal advantage from their place id be well happy...

im still expecting a tough game though...

Last season which Ironicly was at crystal palace, I think they beat us 1-0 and whitts missed a penalty end of the game they all went under the dug out tunnel,
and dekel keinan come over to us on his own, talking to the fans and signing autographs for a couple of kids,
for that reason he'l always have my respect

I thought Dekel Keinan did very well when he came into the side at the end of last season. Always chipped in with goals and was good with the ball at his feet.

Unfortunatley he will be remembered as part of the defence which was shredded by both Middlesbrough and Reading including giving away a penalty in the PO Semi.

Shame really.

Unfortunately I believe he started showing his limitations from the 2-2 draw at home to Barnsley onwards. He is class with his distribution, but his defending and decision making is rash to say the least. A few games towards the end of last season I couldn't believe he stayed on the pitch, he was just diving into tackles everywhere and losing his man!

He certainly struggled when he had kev alongside him in the middle.

Personally I hope Keinan stays here, I'd give him a chance if either Hudson or Turner got injured. Malky knows best though :ayatollah:

Oh shut up you wally.

The defence is solid as you like and hudson and turner are a good partnership.

Why the hell would malky fix something that isnt broke.

Keinans got a soft centre and is not in the picture with malky.
