GABBIDON IN CARDIFF...

Tue Jan 03, 2012 3:20 pm

Spotted Danny Gabbidon in Cardiff today.

I'm guessing he was just visiting the family, but he recently spoke of his desire to return to and retire with City. I'm also guessing that, with QPR chairman Tony Fernandes giving Warnock a bit of money for this transfer window, he would be surplus to requirements.

Would anyone welcome him back when we already have hold of three impressive centre-backs?

I do like Danny Gabbidon but IMO we don't need him, we want to go forward anyway not sideways

Out of our centre-back pairing at that time , I always preferred Collins to Gabby. Not that Gabby was bad mind , just preferred Collins.
Koumas returned - didn't work out.
Chopra returned - gambled a lot.
Earnie returned - not working at mo.

Can anyone think of a returnee that has had a BIG impact ???

He's always in Cardiff visiting so don't worry about it. I'd be interested to see how he'd perform whilst playing regularly at centre back rather than playing inconsistently and all over the back four.
