Non footie related "Project Nestbox"

Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:43 am

Hi everyone I have not posted on here for a while as I tend to read only. I hope the mods dont mind me advertising my project which I have run for over 15 months now. Please could a few forum members take five minutes of your time and visit my website called Project Nestbox and view my latest projects through the latest news tab. If at all possible email me your thoughts good or bad to richyevs@btinternet.com. My project pretty much operates mostly in Torfaen and some parts of Monmouthsire and is run by myself on a volunteer basis. All materials to build nest boxes are either purchased by myself or that I have scrounged or by kind donations by local people and builders merchants.

Thanks Lads

Hi Rich,

Please don't take my feedback as criticism, I admire people that do voluntary work so much. I think what you're doing is brilliant and people like you make a real difference!

When I visited your site, I was a little overwhelmed with information, despite the structure of the site being very clean, neat and tidy.

I was always taught to keep the landing page of a website simple, with key points of information that you want to draw peoples attention to. So maybe simplifying the homepage would be a possibility?

Like I say, I think your project is excellent and I hope the website will raise the profile of what you're doing.

Hi 12th man

Noy at all thank you for your suggestion. The actual layout is pretty basic to say the least, however it is free through Torfaen Councils webster software and my cousin is one of the IT managers so that is pretty much why I have chosen that setup. I will speak to my cousin with regards your suggestion.

Much appreciated

Richard
