O/T Printers/lithographics/binding

Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:18 am

Sorry to post such a really boring post especially after our very well played win today, but unfortunately I'm one of those annoying students who has to think about silly things. I'm writing my dissertation at the mo, and I'll need to get 2x soft bound copies of 1 version and 1 soft bound and 1 hardback copy of another version - SO, does anyone know of any good printers/bookbinders that do this kind of thing?

I have all my binding done at Glamorgan Print in Uni Glam Treforest, they do both soft and hard back binding and prices are reasonable. you dont have to be a student at that uni to be able to use it either. Hope this helps :ayatollah:

Sorry I can't help you but good luck with your dissertation.

I didn't appreciate how important education was when doing my degree and threw the towel in, in the last year as I was fed up of being skint and working like a dog in part time jobs for crap money. Really regret it now and I've been playing catchup ever since.

Good luck!

I'm at Uni Glam so knew about there but didnt realise they did both! Brill stuff, apparently its the setup costs for this kind of thing that costs the money, its an expensive business. I'm only getting soft bound to hand in because it'll stay at uni - why pay for hardback for that? For my own copy with the acknowledgements etc I'm getting one soft bound (incase any person wants to read it - they won't be borrowing my hardback!) and one hard back, just because I'll be writing 11,000 words and it's my 'book' on my field. Until I end up writing one haha
