For the last couple of seasons I've been going to match's and wondering "what kind of team are gonna turn up today..world beaters or a team that plays like they don't give a flying f**k", what a refreshing change this season as you know the team will give everything for the cause be it an entertaining game or a backs to the wall job, my faith is restored and it's all happened since Malky's taken over the reigns. :ayatollah:

it seems like only yesterday I read this post of someone

Every team has one throughout the season, its seems that this is our seasons blip. We are dropping points for fun at the moment and we need the transfer window ASAP to help us out.

Its evident that we need to offload and to strenghthen, wether the board sees that requirement and to what level of ambition they will set themselves remains to be seen.

At present we are not a top two side and without being too negative as i feel we have done wonders so far, but unless we get at least 3 to 4 new players and especially some pace in the side, im afraid to say it but we will struggle to remain a top 6 side.

Although consolidation was possibly our aim for this season, now that we have reached halfway at a great position it will be frustrating to let it slip away with lack of backing in the transfer window.

I will remain optomistic fo the coming month ahead.

Dont forget, we were not to clever against Forest who have lost belief in themselves. We definately need a couple of signings at least

I've had faith in this bunch of players since day one and predicted promotion as Champions before a ball was kicked (although I do that every season ;) )

I have seen nothing that will change my mind as we have now reached and passed the half-way point and whilst I would like to see a couple of pacey wingers brought in, if we don't get anyone this January I would still bet on this lot to get us over the finishing line.

With or without new signings we must still have faith in them that they will do good for the championship.. ;)

I think i might have mentioned this to annis the other
day but two weeks ago we were 9 points behind
southampton. november was a superb month for us
but the top teams were all winning too. december we
slipped a bit, but never 'slumped'... we are turning into
the joe calzaghe of the championship.... hit us, hurt us...
And we come back stronger. we've done it after every
defeat so far!!! thats the biggest difference between
this side and last seasons... under dj we could go on
great winning runs. but just as likely then go out and
lose three on the trot.

Two points off the top now. what a group of players
hes put together!!!!!!

A couple more 'malky type' signings and i really think we
will go up as champions

go up as chamoions

i wish i could get caught up in the moment, but im keeping my feet truley on the ground, how many times have we been in the postition and blew it....Malky is a GOD, hes done wonders with the team and a team that fight for everything and cover every blade of the pitch, another 6 games and if we are there or there abouts then i shall be dancing.. Yesterday was first class, could have been 8 or 9 goals we missed that many but still hit the net 3 times, Can't see many teams scoring past us, Hudson and Turner are like a brick wall

As a football fan who would love to see the First Premiership Welsh Derby between Cardiff and Swansea, I sincerely hope the powers to be realise how close they are to becoming a Premiership team and back Malky by giving him what he needs to secure a promotion. Don't get me wrong if we play you, I hope we kick your butts lol. As a fan though to experience the atmosphere the atmsophere at the game above would be something else.

Some of you may think Reeco is just saying that, well I am not, April 2005 I went to support watch Wrexham play in the LDV Final, they won 2-0, Matthew Crowell a Lad from Bridgend was my joint Man of The Match with Ben Foster the Keeper.

I took loads of photosof me at the game, I am looking for them know, but here is a thread I wrote on The Red Passion site 13th April 2005 http://www.redpassion.co.uk/forums/ldv- ... aster.html
and I was chuffed Wrexham won the LDV Cup. I have the t shirt aswell lol. I will try and find those pics now. ATB. Reeco

They are no longer there gutted,

I have just found them, does anyone know The Bluebird Fan on Page 2 he is doing the Ayatollah lol. I spoke to him, his username was The German Sheparrd,

On page 4 the best ever flag I have seen at a Game it Reads

" Eat More Chips Dont Let Salads Win " lol, it wa something to do with Tim Lovejoy ex Sky sports saying something like he would love to see that on a flag at the footy lol.

I do love Welsh football and I would never say something I didn't mean. ATB. Reeco

No Rob, maybe not, but Malky has been after certain players for months and what ever he asks for now, I believe he should be given the tools, 3rd in the league and already in the Carling Cup Semi-Final. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It seems malky is quite sensible,i think he'll look for decent players which wont cost a fortune, but i do agree he shouldnt be turned down within reason,as he has built an excellent squad of players which are worth a lot more than at the beginning of the season :ayatollah:
