Malky Mackay T-Shirt Competition

Malky Mackay has brought to Cardiff City, a work ethic, passion and desire to play for the shirt that has long been missed at our club.

Having already achieved so much in such a short space of time, we now want to pay tribute to Malky with our next T-Shirt design, but we need YOU to help us finish it off!

The design is based on Shepard Fairey's iconic portrayal of Barack Obama in his election campaign poster and to enter our competition, all you need to do is sum up Malky in one word, as well as give us the reason why you chose that word.

The winner's entry will feature on all the Malky T-Shirts we produce, as well as receiving an actual Malky T-Shirt, another T-Shirt of your choice from our range and also a limited edition 48cm x 33cm Malky Mackay print.

Inspirational
Malky has definitely inspired the team from the players right thru to coaching staff, which has inspired us to believe in what seemed unbelievable.

Proactive
Malky has shown a proactive approach to building a team from the fundations and now from his proactive approach we have began to build on something solid.

Redeemer The redeem means to buy back or save, i think you could definitely say Malky has done that, buy bringing our club back from the brink, no one gave us a chance last summer when DJ and players left.

Ayatollah Although we do the Ayatollah for a different reason it actually suits Malky It is given to high ranking leaders and comes from the meaning god like or from god.

For an alternative slogan and also as a warning to the opposition.

I propose an age old Scotish greeting of sorts........and I hereby give you.

Transcend means to...............
Rise to a great height.
To rise above or go beyond the limits of.
To triumph over the negative or restrictive aspects of, to overcome.
To be prior to, beyond, and above. (the universe or material existence)
To outstrip or outdo in some attribute, quality, or power.
To rise above or extend notably beyond ordinary limits.

I think Transcend just about sums up our season so far and what Malky has achieved and aims to achieve. It also sums up what each and every person on and off the pitch has done this season at Cardiff City and what every fan should aspire to do.
